On September 22nd, the RVS College of Engineering and Technology (RVSCET), Jamshedpur, proudly inaugurated its Induction Program for the academic year 2024. This event is a pivotal moment in the academic calendar, designed to introduce freshers to the vibrant campus life and foster a strong foundation for their educational journey ahead.
The inauguration ceremony began with a warm welcome address by the Principal, prof.(Dr.) Rajesh kumar Tiwari, who emphasized the importance of holistic development and encouraged students to make the most of the opportunities that RVSCET offers. He stated that two weeks event will be feature by insightful talks from guest speakers, including faculties, industry professionals and alumni, who will share their experiences and offer the guidance to new students.
Interactive sessions will be held, including team-building activities and group discussions, which allow the students to connect with their peers and faculty. These activities are intended to ease the transition from high school to college and help students build a network of support that will be crucial throughout their academic careers.
The induction program also included presentations on the various academic departments, extracurricular clubs, and support services available on campus. Students were given an overview of the college’s state-of-the-art facilities, innovative research opportunities, and a variety of student organizations that cater to diverse interests and talents.
Throughout the day, students were encouraged to ask questions and express their aspirations, creating an environment of openness and collaboration. Faculty members were on hand to provide guidance on course selections, academic policies, and campus resources. The induction program concluded with a motivational speech by the Chief Guest, Mr. TAPAS SAHU, past chairman(CII jharkhand state council), Managing Director(Highco Engineers Pvt.Ltd) inspired the students to strive for excellence and make a positive impact in their respective fields. The ceremony attended by RVSCET’S chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Secretary Bharat Singh , Executive member Shakti Singh, Dean Krishna Murari and other faculty members.
