Their vision is to produce excellent Mechanical Engineers who can excel in different functional areas in industries and academia for the betterment of society. B.Tech for Working Professionals, offered by RVSCET, is a three-year part-time evening program affiliated with Jharkhand Technical University. This program is tailored for working professionals who aspire to advance their careers by gaining in-depth knowledge and expertise in engineering and technology. Evening classes provide the flexibility to balance work commitments while pursuing higher education.

The B.Tech course encompasses various fields of engineering and technology, focusing on developing the technical skills required in the core technology and development sectors. The curriculum includes both theoretical and practical components, ensuring comprehensive knowledge and hands-on training with industry-relevant software and hardware.

This lab is one of the basic lab for the first year mechanical engineering students. It provides the basic knowledge of classical physics.

Department is facilitated with 65 computers with design and drawing software required as per curriculum.

AT RVSCET faculties have been using projects as a means of teaching technical skills, tool usage, and problem solving. In the Final Year, Students undertake Project work in different areas of Mechanical Engineering like Design, Thermal, and Manufacturing. The project method provides an excellent means for technological applications. It is a teacher-facilitated collaborative approach in which students acquire and apply knowledge and skills to define and solve realistic problems using a process of extended inquiry. Students follow standards, parameters, and milestones clearly identified by the supervisor during the project. They have control over the planning, refining, and presenting of the project. Through projects, students are engaged in innovation and creativity.

Under the able guidance of qualified and experienced Faculty Members, a group of Students have developed project which are innovative, creative and meets the current demand.
