On June 21, RVSCET (RVS College of Engineering and Technology) came together to celebrate International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and participation from students, faculty, and staff. The event was organized to promote the physical and mental well-being of the community and to emphasize the importance of yoga in daily life.

The celebration began early in the morning with a welcome address by Treasurer Mr. Shatrughna Singh highlighting the significance of yoga in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and said that the beginning of international yoga day was great initiative by our Honorable prime Minister Mr. Narendra damodar das Modi at United Nation summit. This was followed by a series of yoga sessions conducted by experienced instructors, who guided the participants through various asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises).

Participants enjoyed sessions ranging from beginner to advanced levels, ensuring that everyone could join in regardless of their prior experience with yoga. The serene atmosphere and the collective energy of the participants made the event a rejuvenating experience.

In addition to the yoga sessions, there were informative talks from Principal Dr. Rajesh kumar Tiwari on the benefits of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. These sessions provided valuable insights into how yoga can help manage stress, improve concentration, and enhance overall well-being.

The event concluded with a group meditation, where everyone took a moment to reflect and connect with their inner selves. The positive feedback from participants highlighted the success of the event and the growing interest in incorporating yoga into their daily routines.

RVSCET’s celebration of International Yoga Day was a testament to the college’s commitment to promoting health and wellness among its community members. The event not only fostered a sense of unity but also encouraged everyone to adopt a healthier and more balanced lifestyle through the practice of yoga.
